Commissions

The majority of Abbey Walmsley’s artwork is created on the basis of private commissions held in international private, public and corporate collections.

Commissioning a work is an opportunity for clients to have an exceptionally dramatic bespoke piece of art crafted to their specific vision. Clients are encouraged to understand what can be achieved using the attributes of Dynamic Realism, and how their vision can become ‘alive’.

• Clients are able to forge a strong working relationship directly with the artist, ensuring their visions can be clearly communicated, met and surpassed.

• Dedicated research and fieldwork relating to the subjects of desired work(s) of art.

• Clients can follow the creation process on a 3 or 5 day information relay from the studio.

• Framing advice, design and sourcing on request to complement both artwork and hanging environment.

Examples of commissioned pieces

This client requested his dining room to become a ‘tiger room’ – 3 large works were commissioned following artist consultations, framing was also sourced and designed to complement the paintings and hanging environment.
